Background
Healthy Buildings has been operating as a full-service design/build firm, with an exclusive focus on sustainable design and construction practices, since 1999. The architecture and general contracting experience of its Principals includes over 150 completed residential and small commercial projects throughout the last 25 years. This combined experience has allowed us to become a leader in innovative green building methodologies. As an example, we were one of the first companies to exclusively use panelized steel framing for multifamily residential construction and we are consistently looking for new ways to economically build higher-performing, healthy buildings. In addition to developing our own projects, we also provide technical advisory, Build It Green™ and LEED® consultation services to project owners, architects and engineers looking to elevate their projects to a more environmentally-responsible level.
Vineyard Oaks
Healthy Buildings has been an integral part the Vineyard Oaks project for five years. Bob Massaro, Founder and CEO, of this design/build firm has worked alongside the Knight family to develop the concept, navigate the approval process, gain support from the town of Yountville, ensure the project could achieve the LEED® Gold designation and create the stunning design plans for each lot.
