The Annual Taste of Yountville
Join the festivities of the “Mustard Season” at this annual showcase of wine, food, and the arts that showcases Yountville’s “gourmet roots”. Stroll along Washington Street samplings gourmet restaurant fare, olive oils, vinegars, mustards, fine wines, and micro-brews, all while live entertainment fills the air throughout Yountville’s downtown area. APRIL
Annual Justin-Siena Wine Auction
This benefit event, held at the Villagio Inn and Spa in Yountville, features a silent auction, along with a live auction, dinner and dancing.
MAY
Sense Yountville
Sense Yountville was launched in 2009 to provide unprecedented access to the wines and food that define the region. Featuring culinary pairings by an all-star lineup, you’ll meet and mingle with winemakers and renowned chefs. This is the chance to sample and purchase not-yet-released wine futures of the Yountville Appellation.
JUNE
Invitational Father’s Day Auto Show
Show your appreciation and take Dad to the annual auto show where he can drool to heart’s content over one-of-a-kind collector cars. See over 140 early and late model autos spanning 90 years of production – Packard, Ferrari, M.G., Mercedes Benz and much more. JULY
Robert Mondavi Summer Concert Series
Margrit Biever Mondavi founded the concert series in 1969 as part of the winery’s deep commitment to supporting the arts. Concerts are open-air, held on the winery’s main lawn, and include an all-star lineup outstanding quality of the performers.
Festival Del Sole
Napa Valley is the premier stage for this festival featuring the world’s most celebrated musical artists, exquisite cuisine, art exhibits and of course wine from some of Napa Valley’s top vintners. It’s a week-long feast for the senses with many of the concerts taking place right in Yountville at the Lincoln Theater.
Veterans Home Fourth of July Fireworks
This 4th of July Spectacular is the biggest fireworks display in the valley. Various events include a parade and American Blues music.
Annual Opera on the Lawn at Meadowood
An established event staged by the Festival Opera Association, where you’ll enjoy a sumptuous cultural and culinary experience.
AUGUST
Music in the Vineyards
This August, Music in the Vineyards will host their 16th Annual Chamber Music Festival. Music in the Vineyards brings together nationally recognized musicians in unique winery settings where both performers and audiences experience chamber music as it was meant to be performed. These twilight concerts with fine wine, witty commentary and conversation with the musicians have become a Napa Valley tradition. SEPTEMBER
Harvest (Crush)
The grape harvest takes place every year in the fall, and depending on the weather, can start as early as August for sparkling wine grape. Harvest is usually in full swing during most of September and October, offering the ideal time to see how wine is actually made—from vine to wine.
OCTOBER
Yountville Days Parade and Festival
The parade kicks off from the California Veterans Home and runs the length of Yountville, followed by the festival celebration until dusk in tree-shaded Yountville Town Park. At the park, enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment.
Yountville Chili Cook-off
Fun for the entire family, this annual event is held at Yountville Park where you’ll enjoy chili and salsa tasting, and live entertainment.
Halloween Spooktacular
Held at the V Marketplace at Yountville on October 31st, with ghoulish decorations and spooky celebrations. The event is free of charge and all are welcome, particularly if you come wearing a scary costume
NOVEMBER
Festival of Lights
Usher in the holidays as the entire town is set aglow with thousands of sparkling white lights with the annual celebration—a joyous month-long celebration of holiday events and entertainment through New Year’s Eve. Take the kids to see Santa Claus, watch or sing-a-long with carolers, or take a horse-drawn carriage ride down Washington Street. Enjoy an array of festive food faire, wine, and entertainment and shopping into the late evening hours throughout the town.
Napa Valley Film Festival
Walk the red carpet with the filmmakers presenting their latest independent films as Yountville helps host an extended weekend of film, food and wine.
DECEMBER
Santa Claus Express
Santa Claus and his little helpers take a ride onboard the Napa Valley Wine Train to Yountville. The Santa Express Train is a magical experience for the young and the young at heart. Ride the express train with our special guest, Santa! Ole’ Saint Nick is going to bring some friends and carolers on board. This is a fabulous holiday experience for the whole family.
